October 3, 2018 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

FACL's Women's Committee is very excited to announce our next event in partnership with Linda Silver Dranoff. Linda is a very successful champion for women's equality rights in the Canadian legal landscape. She is the founding chair of the Women Lawyers Forum at the Ontario Bar Association and has been recognized many times for her legal work and activism by the women's community, the legal community and beyond. She has recently published her new book, Fairly Equal: Lawyering the Feminist Revolution. Through this event, Linda will speak to us about her book, providing us insights on the current progress and hurdles to the Canadian Feminist Revolution. Linda will also be sharing her experience regarding the challenges to succeed as a female lawyer in Canada.

Please note that while we encourage attendees to read the book, it is not a requirement to attend the event.
