Pre-Convocation Coffee Gathering

For those of you heading to Convocation on Friday, December 1, 2017 to hear the arguments regarding the Statement of Principles, FACL Ontario will be hosting a Pre-Convocation Coffee Gathering to march over!

We will be gathering at 8:30 AM at the Court House Library at  361 University Avenue, on the 3rd floor in the rotunda. Please enter from the doors facing University Avenue, go through security, go up to the 3rd floor, and follow the signs.  The courthouse on 361 University Ave is just north of Osgoode Station (TTC). You’d get out on the east side, and walk north to the corner of University Avenue and Armoury Street: http://www.tlaonline.ca/?page=HowToFindUs .  We will then move as a group to the Law Society for 9:00am when Convocation will start. There will be coffee and donuts courtesy of FACL, and space courtesy of the TLA.

According to the agenda for Convocation, the statement of principles issue is expected to be discussed around 10:30am (the actual timing will depend on how things go with the earlier agenda items).

We hope to seek as many folks as possible, even if it’s only for a portion of Convocation, as it will be important for us to demonstrate our support for the Law Society and the statement of principles; https://www.lsuc.on.ca/with.aspx?id=2147504036

Please come out in support!
