The Law Students’ Society of Ontario (“LSSO”) has written a letter to the Law Society of Upper Canada (“Law Society”) regarding its concerns about the new Law Practice Program (“LPP”) in Ontario. This letter may be of interest to FACL’s student members and current licensing candidates. To view the letter from LSSO, pleaseCLICK HERE.
As you may be aware, the LPP has been implemented for several months as an alternative to the traditional articling pathway for licensing candidates in the province of Ontario. LSSO felt this would be the appropriate time to share observations to date from current law students and LPP candidates with the Law Society.
This letter has also been archived on our Media page under the section “Judicial and Legal Diversity in Canada”.
