Do you appear in court as part of your practice? Are you looking to improve your advocacy skills?
Join us, and our friends at the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL), for a discussion with a panel distinguished judges who will outline what they find as effective and compelling advocacy from the lawyers that appear in front of them. The panel will cover both written materials and oral advocacy in a manner relevant to most types of practice areas in Ontario. As well, the panel will discuss the increasing diversity within the judiciary and the changing face of our profession.
A cocktail reception will follow the panel.
