What: A speed-mentoring and networking event with a broad range of legal practitioners, ranging from solo firms to in-house counsel, government and Big Law

Network with your peers, exchange advice and expand your connections at the annual FACL-Osler speed-mentorship event!

FACL’s Mentorship Committee, in collaboration with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, is delighted to host an evening of speed-mentoring and networking on February 26, 2025. Law students, licensing candidates and junior lawyers (with 3 or less years in practice) are invited to participate in person as mentees in this exciting event—which shall feature keynote speakers and a slate of mentors who will share their experiences in intimate, rotating, breakout sessions. Hear from attending mentors in a variety of practice areas and types—from solo firms, in-house, government and Big Law, to name a few.

Speed networking rotations will occur several times over an hour, giving mentees the opportunity to make meaningful connections with a wide array of mentors. This is an excellent opportunity to meet practitioners in other areas, learn more about the practice of law, and raise your profile within the Asian Canadian legal profession!
