Event: The Path to Career Ownership for the Diverse Lawyer, presentation and wine and appetizer networking opportunity

Description:  Diverse lawyers that maintain deep relationships, developmental opportunities, and premium career opportunities, actively manage their careers. They practice career ownership.

The presentation will examine certain unwritten rules of career ownership to uncover what diverse top performers do (though not asked) to build and reflect a strong brand, relationship orientation, learning orientation, self-evaluation orientation, and value creation orientation – each demonstrating career ownership.

Presenter Werten F.W. Bellamy, Jr. is the President of Stakeholders, Inc., a company founded in 2007 that provides training and conference resources directed to the active career management needs of corporations and service firms. His work is focused on the role individual contributors must play in driving their career outcomes and is directed to identifying the practical career strategies of top performers.
