Equity and Diversity in Nova Scotia’s Entity Regulation

As the Nova Scotia Barrister Society explores entity regulation, FACL Atlantic Director Kevin Hong proposes expressly including equity and diversity principles in the regulatory framework. Read the full paper here.

Kevin Hong’s prepared this paper on behalf of the Nova Scotia Barrister Society’s Working Group on Equity, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. The Nova Scotia Barrister Society’s Entity Regulation Steering Committee has adopted the paper’s recommendations.

Keep an eye on this development as other law societies, including the Law Society of Upper Canada, investigate entity regulation and the related subject of Alternative Business Structures for themselves.
