FACL ONTARIO

Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers

Welcome to FACL

Thank you for visiting the Ontario Chapter of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (“FACL”). Our members includes law students, solo and small firm practitioners, lawyers at large firms, corporate counsel, lawyers serving all levels of government, academics, lawyers practising in the broader public sector, foreign-trained lawyers and non-practising lawyers, who are located across our province.

FACL actively promotes social justice and inclusion, and engages in advocacy, often through coalitions with other equity-seeking organizations across the legal profession, on a range of policy and legislative initiatives with government and other public service institutions. FACL supports professional and community development, provides career support programs (mentoring, networking, and other social activities), and promotes other opportunities for Asian Canadian legal professionals. In addition, FACL promotes legal education and awareness through outreach programs and initiatives across the broader pan-Asian Canadian community.

We welcome you to join FACL as a member, and encourage you to contact us at communications@facl.ca, or reach out to a member of our board of directors.
